Sarah C's turn

Well hey there. First off thank you all for your help and prayers to let all of us go on this amazing trip. Saturday we flew pretty much all day, and landed around 6:30 east coast time, and 3:30 Washington time. We all got in our rooms finding out we got Apartments! How cool is that, although our walk to the main campus area is a little longer than most it is worth it having the nice roomsJ My room mate Stephanie and I have tried staying in kali, Melinda, Sarah, and Emily’s room but it turns out curfew is 12:00. My mom sent care packages to me and Steph so we have had midnight snacks, of Swedish fish and Doritos! Now the good part; the services have been spectacular, the first night (Sunday) was the best, we had a speaker named Erwin Mccmanus. He told a few stories including one where his daughter was hit by a car when she was about seven, her being completely fine. Hearing him talk about Mariah (his daughter) Most of what he talked about, then when he was about done with talking, he introduced Mariah and her bandJ She has the most amazing voice ever! Me and Stephanie got the chills. So I HAD to buy a CD. Worship has been great too, and very powerful! I thank everyone praying for us CHIC really is changing our lives. I am looking forward to coming home but at the same time I don’t want to leave! A lot of laughs! Me Stephanie and Kali were in the pool on floaties watching tons of other high school students jump off the diving board obviously the guys were showing off! But anyway! The guys would “ATTEMPT” to do flips but would land weird or belly flop lol. We watched them for about 2 hours! Laughing so hard I got a major headache! And met this guy named quin that looked like Corbin Bleu JR! and grabbed tim so they could meet, at first they didn’t really hit it off but a little later they were hanging out and its so cool we new they were meant to be friends! Asking quin(Corbin bleu jr.) to make ugly faces as he jumped off the diving board, that was the funniest part of watching the divers. Steph and I ending up with giant sunburns on our backs! I guess it was worth it thoughJ Hope your all doing well. And it better get nice in wash soon!
